Okhahlamba Integrated Development Plan (IDP) 2019-2020

Integrated Development Planning in South Africa is an integral planning process that steers development at local levels of government and guides service delivery. The Integrated Development Plan is a planning tool used to implement a co-operative and integrated development project in South Africa’s spatial economy.

This IDP process is dominated by community structures and allows for continuous and progressive development. Its development is guided by National and Provincial development and planning policies and other pieces of legislation. Therefore, the IDP is a legal obligation, which all government institutions must respect.
